A story that grows with them, from 3 to 11

Giving the book to a 4-year-old or a 10-year-old? We shape every page to their age: the tone, the sentences, the scale of the adventure. Here are two real excerpts, from Emma's book at age 5 and from Leo's at age 10.

Last hesitations

The same book is written for every child aged 3 to 11: the tone, the vocabulary and the scale of the adventure follow the exact age you enter. This page shows Emma's example, age 5: a gentle adventure from cover to cover, short sentences made for bedtime reading, tender rescues, nothing scary. It is often the very first story where the child is the hero, the one that starts the bedtime ritual. For an older child, the same story takes on the scale of a true epic: discover Leo's example, age 10.

Yes, that is the heart of the book. You share a photo, and we compose their illustrated portrait: their face, their hairstyle, their smile. That portrait follows them on every page, in everyday clothes at the start of the story, then in their hero costume. You see the portrait before continuing, and you can redo it until it is just right.

Eight powers are on offer: super strength, flight, fire, ice, speed, water, silver webs and telekinesis. Each comes with a costume in carefully chosen colours that you can personalize: main colour, accent colour, chest symbol, cape and mask. The costume appears on the cover and in every scene where the hero springs into action.

It is used solely to compose your child's illustrated portrait, then deleted immediately. Never stored, never shared. You can also delete the portraits from your account area, or keep them to create more books.

Two formats to choose from: softcover at €57, hardcover at €69. The price includes the composition of the story, the illustration of every page, printing in Europe on FSC paper and delivery. The 21.5 × 21.5 cm square format and the 50 pages are identical in both cases.

Yes, that is exactly what the gift card is for. You give the value of the book, and the parents compose the story themselves: the photo, the age, the power, the little morning habits. The card is valid for two years, plenty of time to gather all the memories.

Everything remains editable after ordering, the text as well as the illustrations. You adjust each page until it truly looks like them, and nothing goes to print without your approval.

Creating it takes about fifteen minutes. Printing and delivery then take 5 to 12 working days, depending on your location and the shipping option you choose. For a birthday, allow two to three weeks of margin for peace of mind.

Yes. The book can be composed in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. Handy for families living between two languages, or for a little cousin growing up abroad.

Everything to know

The superhero book for ages 3-5, in a few words

A personalized book where your little one is the hero

A personalized superhero book for a child aged 3 to 5 is not a book with a name pasted onto the cover. It is an entire story built around them: their face on every page thanks to their illustrated portrait, their real everyday life as the starting point (their home, their school, their little habits) and the power you choose together from eight archetypes. At this age, recognising themselves in the pages is a huge joy: they are not reading the adventures of a hero who vaguely resembles them, they are living their own.

The adventure is written for little ones: short sentences made for reading aloud, the gentlest of rescues (a balloon caught in mid-air, a toy saved just in time), nothing scary. The book's big lesson sits right at their height: stay calm, be clever, look after your own. At bedtime, the story is listened to with eyes wide open, then ends with a great big hug.

The gift for a child aged 3, 4 or 5

Finding a gift for a child aged 3, 4 or 5 that will not end up at the bottom of a toy chest is the whole challenge. The book where the child is the hero plays in another league: it is the story they ask for every night, the one they proudly show the family, the one parents keep preciously once they have grown. Grandparents, godparents, uncles and aunts: it is the birthday gift that lands every single time.

And if the child grows up? The same book grows with them: for an older child, the story takes on the scale of a true epic, with real stakes, suspense and a victory well earned (see Leo's example, age 10). If you do not know all the details (the photo, the little morning habits), the gift card lets the parents compose the book themselves, whenever they wish.

The 21.5 × 21.5 cm square format, the softcover at €57 or hardcover at €69, the FSC paper printed in Europe: every detail is designed for an object that travels through the years, not for one more gadget.

How to compose their superhero book

Everything happens online, in about fifteen minutes. You enter the first name and the age, and share a photo: we compose your child's illustrated portrait. You then choose their power from the eight on offer, personalize their costume (colours, symbol, cape, mask) and their hero name, and tell us about their everyday life: the morning ritual, the way to school, their favourite cuddly toy. These details become the first pages of the book.

Before printing, you review everything. Every page remains editable, the text as well as the illustrations, and nothing goes to print without your approval. Once the book is approved, it is printed in Europe and delivered within 5 to 12 working days. All that is left is to watch their face the moment they recognise themselves on the cover.

“Her gentle threads of light watch over the whole lovely city of Nantes.”
